If you have been wanting to see “The Wait and the Reward” in person, here is your chance! Unfortunately I will be out of town (for a maternity portrait, haha!), so I won’t make it to the opening, but I hope some of you get a chance to see this… Details below:

“The Art of Birth”

February 6 – 27, 2015
Opening Reception Feb. 6 from 6-9 p.m.

The Art of Birth is a mixed media art show opening February 6 and running through February 28 in the cultural district of Fort Worth at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. Over 35 artists will be featured in the gallery exhibit, showcasing subjects surrounding the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. Originally produced in April 2011, The Art of Birth was a one day mixed media art and performance show. Limited sponsorships for the month long gallery event are available.

The event is hosted by Texas Birth Networks (http://www.birthtexas.org/), a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to advocating and supporting evidence-based maternity care in the state of Texas. Tarrant County Birth Network is a local chapter of Texas Birth Networks. Free meetings start at 7PM the 4th Thursday of every month at 1000 Montgomery Street, Fort Worth, Texas. Topics relate to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
